![]() ![]() Those are more satisfying for me because I feel both things matter. ![]() There are a few where it feels beautiful because I can mix my dodging/attacking with some karakuri. The later fights keep feeling like I am not supposed to really ever approach unless I have done a soft stun on the monster with a fusion of some kind. The earlier ones I could use my weapon more. So you basically just need to make sure to spend one of the openings made from using karakuri to get more karakuri. Sometimes it is just frustrating to be able to grab a hold too. You can certainly use your hunters arm to get more thread, but that too feels frustrating because of how sloppy the camera gets when you latch on. The harpoon/crossbow/hammer are excellent if you can place them well. You need karakuri to create openings to use your attacks, which means some fusions. Spring away or cause it to fall over with a wall. It is 'easy' once you figure that out, but frustrating in a different way. What I see is the game seems to be mostly about resource management and I understand why not everyone enjoys that. While it certainly works, the problem is the karakuri is just too important as a limited resource to feel fun for me at end game. I find the "use karakuri" to be the catch all excuse people are giving to quash any critique. ![]()
